How Feng Shui Colors Can Brighten up Your Day... AND, How We Use Colour in Feng Shui To Create The Right Mood and Atmosphere...

In Feng Shui, Color has a powerful and lasting effect upon people.

If the colour in your bedroom, at your front entrance, in the living room or kitchen is positive... it can uplift your entire life including your relationship and love, your prosperity, your family harmony and health. And... the wrong colors in these same areas (particularly the colours in the bedroom, the front entrance and the living room) will affect everyone leaving them dull or "down" this has the effect of making everyone feel depressed, lowly, deprived. In fact, so profound is Color in Feng Shui that I would go so far as to say that it can have a deep and lasting effect on the personality. If you dont believe me, think back to the colors you were surrounded by when you were a child and trace the effect of these colors on your childhood, your personality. Without a doubt, the colours we grew up with as children have definitely shaped us as individuals and they may even be shaping us as adults even now.

In Feng Shui, Colour is used to restore vitality to an area. In Feng Shui, Colour has the power to shape the way your emotions can fit into a building, within a workspace, within your bedroom, your relationship, your life. In Feng Shui, Color is also used to "cure" or "remedy" negative energies... likewise, Feng Shui Colors are used to "stimulate and enhance" all the positive energies - especially at an unseen level.

Colours to be careful with are those in the red family ie pink/red/purple/plum/burgundy.. because these colours can also trigger negative energies in certain building horoscopes, whereas these same colours if placed into good Feng Shui within the building (meaning the right place within the horoscope of the building) they can increase prosperity, health, vitality, power and yang chi/energy.
