I can still remember my humble beginnings in Feng Shui...

When I first started Feng Shui I could barely believe the depth of this knowledge. Like all other Asian healing arts Feng Shui was so intricate and detailed that when I begun my lessons in Hong Kong with my teacher, I used to come away from each lesson with my head spinning! The full story of how I accidentally got involved in Feng Shui is tucked away close to my biography (under the Gayle section) so I wont go into the details here, but I was the first practitioner to introduce the authentic Flying Star System to Australia. In fact, many of the more established consultants practising the Flying Stars System today first learnt the Flying Stars from me. Prior to that, Australian consultants, like the majority of other western consultants (world - wide), only had access to the Black Sect method. Whilst this may seem like an unassuming little milestone to some, the reality is... back in those days, the introduction of authentic Feng Shui and the Flying Stars system changed Feng Shui in Australia forever and put "Australian western Feng Shui practitioners" on the map when it came to practising the same authentic Chinese methods as their Asian counterparts.

Today, that is almost a decade ago and there have many more break throughs in the world of Feng Shui since then, not only in Australia but in other countries as well. These days, the more authentic strains of Feng Shui are out in the open in many western countries where they were previously unavailable. It doesn't mean to say that western people know how to use Feng Shui to its highest possibility because many have been influenced by the "fast food approach" marketed by eager sales people. But I think it means that the more discerning clients are starting to realise that Feng Shui is much deeper than the fast food approach and as a result they are willing to be guided and open to learning. Since Feng Shui is indeed a mysterious science... I am sure there are many more breakthroughs to come in the future.
