2007 The year of the Fire Pig and your sign

So what does the year of the Fire Pig hold in store for your astrological sign?  In a real Chinese astrology analysis there is always a comparison of the yearly energies in relation to your own unique horoscope, ie astrologers compare your hour, day, month and year to the year in question.  Therefore, please accept the following guidelines as being for general energies only.

Rat

You could find the flow of this year quite positive even though you are not particularly connected to the Pig animal sign.  In particular there could be many new opportunities and innovations that excite you and it could be a year where you find yourself reaping sizeable profits and flourishing in new ventures that are highly successful.  In any case it will be a busy year ahead for rats as this year certainly denotes changes and new projects.  Remember to sit back and take it easy at times because tired stressed rats are not a pretty sight.  The Pig always adopts the philosophy of do less, gain more… and you personally could gain a lot from this lesson.  This year also shows that at times you will have to make a lot of personal adjustments – for instance, you may have to change your attitude again and again if you wish to succeed.  Be careful not to lose things or leave valuable things lying around as there could be a lot of movement this year and it may be hard to keep track of things.

Ox

This is a year where you could find yourself a little more on the hop in more ways than one.  People born in the year of the Ox are usually a little more serious than most pig born people would like but if you can cut the pig a little bit of slack it will definitely produce magic.  If you have involvement with people born in the year of the pig (or even just the energy of the year of the pig) there could be some fun times ahead doing things together – even though you normally would be like chalk and cheese.  There could be something the pig born person does which allows you to shine and a project you are doing could attract a lot of assistance from others.  Travel might be on the cards and if this is the case, be careful of your possessions as it’s a year where you could forget things or leave important things behind. 

Tiger

This particular combination in Chinese astrology show to be a good year ahead for tiger born people.  There will be lots of laughter and many happy harmonious occasions to share with others.  Look for loyal connections in the year of the pig because you might be able to attract a new partner in business or a new love relationship.  If you’re really lucky you might attract both!  On the business side, if you find a business partner you are very compatible with, make sure you set up good action plan to clarify everyone’s role and responsibilities.  If things “happen” in a business sense there is a good chance everything will happen very quickly and you don’t want to be left crying about spilt milk or any other “messy item”.  On the love side of things, keep a hold of your hat.  You are always very enthusiastic about love at anytime and you know you can get over excited about love matters but you need to make sure your new relationship feels the same.  There may be travel opportunities this year so take your new date and enjoy.  Just be a bit watchful of the purse strings thought as there is a tendency for you to overspend when you get enthusiastic.

Rabbit

Expect a fabulous year ahead with lots of support and friendship to cheer you on.  The last few years have been a bit strange but all of that has finished now and you need to finish it in your head ASAP so that you can be ready for new possibilities.  This year brings many new opportunities to the table and there could be a number of new directions to choose from.  Make sure you think about the future as well as the now because you don’t want to put all of your eggs in the one basket.  Leave some room for fun this year and hook up with any pig born people because they could bring you luck.

Dragon

There could be a lot of activity going on at your workplace this year but not much of it seeming to come in your direction.  If you do have important projects going on, be prepared to pace yourself.  They can still come off well – but they will have to fit in with the plans of others as well.  If you go full steam ahead on your own steam you might find yourself having to waste time back pedalling.  This is because Pig years are better for socialising rather than really initiating new ground breaking projects, so everyone could be going in one direction and you seem to be going in the other.  Never mind, consider it an exercise in patience and you’ll find the opportunities to get through.  The social aspects of this year are worthwhile so don’t waste time getting stressed out! 

Snake

This could be a year where you feel a little out of sorts due to the clashing nature of the year with your animal sign.  It’s almost as though the pig year is going one direction and you are going in another direction and at times you may feel stretched in two directions… but don’t lose heart.  This is a good year for consolidating your resources, doing new research and getting up to date with all your projects and friends.  In particular people born in the year of the Ox and Rooster are good company for you this year.  This is also a good year for just going about your business quietly and in an incognito way.  If you remain incognito, you’ll be amazed at the discoveries you make.  In fact, these discoveries could lead to new directions or new enterprise in the future but don’t be mislead into starting any new ventures this year.  Anything new that you create this year (with ideas that you think of in this year) will not last long if you try to launch it this year.  Avoid forming any partnerships with people who are born in the year of the Pig.  The level of chaos you could experience with them if you went into business would be seriously debilitating. 

Horse

Even though the Pig and the horse have almost nothing in common the horse will definitely find support and appreciate the social aspects of this particular pig year.  Parties get togethers and socialising is always appreciated by the horse who loves to be in the centre of attention.  New opportunities could come to you by strange means this year so make sure you keep your mind open.  This is also a year where you might feel your destiny taking you in new directions as your guardian spirit this year is the Pig.  Don’t be afraid of trying new things… change is in the air and it can lead to even greater things in the future.

Goat

This is a year where you will find the flow of the year very much in harmony with your own energies.   New projects, your workplace and social gatherings, could become very significant for you with many new opportunities presenting themselves on a silver platter.  Travel and romance could also be highlighted; however you need to keep yourself in the highest integrity when it comes to the romance side of things.  If you get caught in a moment of passion there could be very high consequences to pay as well as a damaged reputation to deal with in the aftermath.  Since this is such a good year for being recognised and receiving the rewards for all the hard work you’ve put in, to lose the full splendour of this by having to go into damage control would not at all be in harmony with all the good things that can potentially happen for you this year.  After your birthday month, take some time out to replenish your energies.  Short trips away with friends can be exciting and fun.

Monkey

There are a variety of aspects to this year that could have you running off your feet but you need to make sure your not chasing your tail.  This is because certain energies within the year could give you the feeling that your really conquering all the things you wanted to, but… don’t get sucked into believing all your feelings until you’ve done the research.  We want facts, figures, statistics; we want the writing on the wall in big bold letters.  One of the weaknesses you could suffer with in this year is being fooled by things (or trying to fool others…!).  This is because if everyone makes the right sound around you (or you make the right sound around others!), you could think it’s all going right.  Look into what’s going on behind the scenes and do your research there.  There is going to be a lot of activity going on this year.  Taking time out or keeping a balance in some way could be important.

Rooster

This could be a year where a lot of movement, activity and travel go on but at the end of the year, if you haven’t kept things in check, you might find yourself asking what have I actually achieved.  On one hand, someone close to you might put you into the limelight and so, this could be a year where you are publicly recognised for an achievement you’ve made.  On the other hand, don’t get too caught up in the moment because there are more important things going on which need your attention.  Look for missed details, misunderstood directions (which you’ve given) and take a detailed look into the way you go about things.  Even though it might be tempting to blame others it’s about time you owned up to the way you contribute to any chaos around you.  This year revaluate what’s important to your values and make sure you add items like friendships to your list.  Sometimes you can be a little too technical.  Don’t forget the balance between the head and the heart!

Dog

This will be an interesting year ahead and one in which you might watch the bone going to others rather than arriving on your rightful dinner plate like you’ve been hoping it would.  If this is the case, don’t worry.  Even if the bone landed on your plate, the energies of this year are not right enough for you to really do what you want so don’t fret.  If anything, the coming year might find you racing about on all fours performing “rescue missions” and it won’t go unnoticed.  Other people always notice people who are reliable and capable of performing when the heat is on.  Be watchful of absentmindedness and losing things that are dear to you this year.  If you go out and put something down for a minute… in the next minute it might not be there!  Especially be watchful of your money.  Get rich quick schemes are never so good for Dogs who like to earn their money by working hard.  Plan short trips away this year with friends.  There are excellent energies for socialising.

Pig

Pigs are masters at finding happiness in almost any year however pigs are especially happy in pig years because the flow of the year is easy, happy optimistic and above all comfortable.  Having said that, a happy pig in a pig year usually means a lot of excess and indulgence somewhere along the line and it might be wise to either get yourself a minder, a personal trainer or at least restrict the limit on your credit card this year!  Be careful of getting carried away in the heat of the moment and promising things you know you’re not going to want to deliver tomorrow because this type of promise might follow you around hollering bellowing later!  Have a good time this year; people born in the year of the rabbit, goat and tiger will make you luckier.
