Feng Shui Remedies -in the Design Phases
When we are talking about creating Feng Shui remedies for the design phase-whether it's a renovation or a complete ground up design-generally this means that the entire design will be based around the Feng Shui astrology for the building.
To begin this process the Feng Shui Master first starts with doing a compass reading of the building so that he/she can know how the building is aligned on the land to receive the invisible forces of nature (or the unseen influences). Then he/she draws up the horoscope of the building and overlay's it over the floor plan.
Ultimately the horoscope will show where the two prosperity energies as well as the human fortune energies will fall. Then the next important thing to know is where the negative energies will fall-because every building also carries the potential for negative energy (whether it is activated or not is precisely the purpose of the Feng Shui consultation). At times the negative energy can fall over significant areas (like the front door or the master bedroom, etc) and at other times it may be insignificant. Either way, the design stage is the perfect time to "build it out of the building" (ie build negative energy into a closet or a bathroom, etc).
At this stage of Feng Shui we have a significant template for how to design this unique building. For instance, if the prosperity energy falls at the front centre section of the building then it would make sense to put the front entrance in this sector-that way, whenever someone comes to the building they will stimulate the prosperity. Alternatively, if the prosperity falls at the back of the building you may like to put your family room into this position and build your garage so that you can enter into the house via the back prosperous entrance!
Then, designing where each room is going to be in the building as well as who is going to occupy it (according to that person's horoscope or the family horoscopes) is the ultimate in Feng Shui designing. From a Feng Shui point of view it gives you the luxury of really creating the best you can because it allows you to avoid putting someone into a room where the Feng Shui influences could create sickness, arguments, bankruptcy, or divorce.
Often, building with Feng Shui is a very flexible procedure and easy to manage. Every building has a different horoscope according to the time period it's built and occupied in and how it's aligned on the land, so this makes for a very versatile look at arranging energies harmoniously.
