Feng Shui Interpretations
In Asia, there are a multitude of Feng Shui interpretations ranging from the very sophisticated to the very simplistic (not used by professionals). All interpretations are aimed towards creating harmony and prosperity, restoring balance and supporting the human fortune aspects, however there are different approaches and this will vary according to what the practitioner has studied.
Essentially, any Feng Shui consultation should follow the same concepts:
1. |
The consultation should involve some sort of building astrology whether it's the flying stars or eight mansions (the flying stars is what's commonly used throughout Asia). This is because you need to harmonise with what you can see as well as with what you can't see. |
2. |
The consultation needs to include your personalised Feng Shui Astrology so that a comparison can be drawn between the building and you. In other words - how will you fare within this building? |
3. |
All consultations have to include a relationship to the Forms and Shapes within the external environment. This means, your building does have a relationship to the building next door, the park over the road, the T-intersection two doors down. All of these things have to be considered in a Feng Shui consultation. |
4. |
The Remedies you add have to either enhance positive aspects or reduce/neutralise any negative aspects. Remedies might be to enhance a good feature within the landscape or to correct an unseen problem within the building horoscope. |
5. |
Your Consultant should be equipped with adequate training so that they can provide the above for you. In Asia, the Chinese don't go for the cheapest consultant - they pick the consultant that knows what they're doing and have a good track record of success! |
Further Information
In addition to normal Feng Shui consulting practices there are also specialised practices that have long been used in Asia to create wealth, health and prosperity. These are often more costly to do simply because the return is higher. Be aware that when it comes to the application of specialised practices some buildings don't suit certain specialised practices simply because the Feng Shui Base (ie the existing horoscope of the building or certain building conditions) is not good enough (ie strong enough) to be able to apply the specialised Feng Shui practices.
