Romance is indicated this year for both female and male rat born people.  Either existing relationships can become stronger or new relationships might come about if single.  Beware of fast flirtatious invitations if you are in a committed relationship.  The trouble created by third party flirtations will not be worth it in the end.  At times you may need to rest and take time out.

Ox

Tiger

This is a year where things are quite restless, there are lots of challenges or the objects and things that you’ve been focusing on are in a “moving pattern.”  From time to time it may seem like nothing is stable or as secure as you thought it was and you may need to re-evaluate what you need to do several times throughout the course of the year.  In particular you need to stay away from risky financial activities (as the stars are not in your favour) and take care of existing financial situations.  There is a focus whereby this year will be a time of special learning for you and it will be very positive if you can take it upon yourself to learn from things that don’t work and make more thorough investigations if you get setbacks with obstacles.  If you remain fixed about the past or dig your heels in in relation to past theories or even findings and try to keep going along as you have been there could be a lot of obstacles that take up a lot of time (and quite frankly the universe may have other plans).  Having said that there are good opportunities for learning things that could really take you in new directions, lots of travel and exploration and all the things that you really like to do – if you leave yourself open to learning new things???

Rabbit

There are certain elements to this year where you will be called up to help others out, act as an advocate, be a patron, support people in important projects or other such related situations.  If you try to take the lime light yourself you will encounter lots of obstacles and feel a lot of mental tension in this position.  However, if you play a supporting role to someone, you will naturally gain very good exposure from this position and you will achieve a sense of satisfaction and achievement.  In a sense the majority of your work this year will happen from the sidelines but you really can pull off some wonders as a result of your patience and steadfast attitude.

Horse

This year can be very inspiring for you at many levels even though it is technically not exactly your kind of year.  Despite the fact that there are a few clashing elements that exist with the Dragon Year there are new ideas that might come your way or new opportunities that you could explore.  Certainly you get more fortune if you spend a bit of time preparing the soil as they say.  However the results may not be immediate.  If you try to launch a new project without the background it may not come to fruition even if it’s a great concept.  Additionally, you don’t have the harmonious energies travelling entirely in your favour this year due to the Horses alliance with the Dog (which is in a clash year).  So it’s much better for you to sit on it, develop it, explore it, expand it, test it thoroughly and then begin to plan it.  That’s what this year is all about for you in terms of doing anything new.

This is a year where you can expect the unexpected.  On one level you may need to support and sustain others in all kinds of capacity and at another level you may secretly need a bit of support and sustenance yourself and so it will be a year where you need to gage how to keep your balance and make a plan to keep it.

You need to be very careful about financial speculations this year.  There are not easy going energies for you in this regard.  Financial ventures your currently involved in might take a loss and any new venture needs to move forward with healthy caution and a lot of due diligence.  In the coming year you may suffer financial loss due to natural disasters.  In addition, there could be certain parts of your profession that are under threat due to the changing financial climate or other circumstances which are beyond your ability to control.

This year is the “clash year” for the dog because the dog and the dragon clash in the year of the dragon.  The effect of this will depend upon other connections in your Chinese astrology (so mild to more intense) but essentially it means that at different times throughout the year you can encounter obstacles, delays, other challenges.  At another level anyone’s “clash year” ordinarily means they will undergo a lot of change and usually those changes can end up for the better in the long run. 
At times you could attract projections from others or project onto others as a result of misunderstanding…  However, if you normally do keep your cool well in stressful situation and you ordinarily operate in a way where you turn negative into positive you may reduce negative experiences and outcomes even by as much as 70%. 
In the coming year you may need to take care of your finances more than usual.  You might need to watch out for spending more money or unexpected expenses.  Romance and family life could be a little stressful at times this year and the best course of action is to remain positive, address any issues early in the peace and keep a personal balance (ie take time out, go for a walk, rest, eat well).
